Software Support SpecialistResponsibilities - Assist
in the development of possible software application
using database concepts and user-oriented languages.
- Assist
with programming in dot-NET, ASP, Visual Basic, Access,
and Excel environments.
- Assist
in the maintenance of system architecture.
- Understanding
web-service concepts such as SOAP, WSDL, XML, HTTP,
UDDI and HTML.
- Ability
to multi-task and successfully meet deadlines.

and end-user issues.

Work under general direction, within parameters of
company policies and procedures. Requirements
Requirements - Some
college/technical experience beyond high school.
- 1-3
years of job related experience.

concepts, practices and procedures related to PC desktop
support and problem resolution.
- Microsoft
Developer Certification preferable but not required.
- Must
arrange his own transportation to clients’ sites.
- Own
laptop/desktop; some work from home.
- Mature
and responsible, excellent references, and a clean
driving record .

and resolve a wide variety and range of PC, printer,
and software problems.

Resolve problems on multiple operating systems (including
Win95, 98, NT 4.0, XP, Server 2000, and Server 2003),
software, network configurations and homegrown applications.

Stage, configure, set-up, and upgrade new desktops,
laptops and peripherals, including imaging and deployment
of equipment.

Knowledge in cabling (Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6) installations.

Install/repair new computers and appropriate software
applications.

Support end-users on hardware and software related
peripherals.

Provide technical expertise/training to end-users
as needed to resolve equipment or operator problems.
